We've since put in provisions to prevent this from happening and you shouldn't see it again. We publish all planned downtimes on the Syncplicity Forums (https://my.syncplicity.com/Forums/default.aspx?g=topics&f=5) and we use Twitter/FriendFeed (http://twitter.com/syncplicity) to announce the unplanned ones.
