A few weeks ago we showed you how to create a Shareable Link to send a file of any size to anyone, without grappling with mail attachment restrictions or one-off mail services.
This week we answer the questions:
- How can you tell what links you've shared?
- How can you tell if people have accessed the links you've shared
- Is it possible to remove a link?
You can manage all aspects of a shareable link through the My Syncplicity site under the "Accounts" tab. At the bottom of that page you will see a link to "View Shareable Links". From here you access a control panel that shows every link you've created.
From the "My Shareable Links" page you can:
- See every link you've created
- See when you shared it
- See how many times it's been downloaded, and
- Deactivate it (revoke access) so people can no longer download the file
Shareable links give you the freedom to send files of any size to anyone and allow them to download the file whenever they need it. With the "My Shareable Links" page you get the control you need to revoke that access and verify whether people have downloaded the files you've shared.
Syncplicity users... let us know... how have you used shareable links?
